Join us on the farm and get your hands in the soil!
Our Community Work Days are a great way to see the farm, help with a task and get to talk with the farmers. Community Days run from 10am to 1pm.
Please note that we are a working farm and not available for visits without an appointment.
The following are the Community Work Days for the 2025 season:
May 31st, June 28th, July 26th, August 30th, September 27th and October 25th.
Please register to let us know you’re coming
For your visit:
Where: We are located in Chester, NY in the beautiful black dirt of Orange County. The farm is about 50 miles from the George Washington Bridge in NYC, located near Route 17 (I-86), I-84, and I-87.
What to bring: A reusable water bottle, a bag lunch, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting very, very, dirty. In case of rain, please also bring rain gear.
IMPORTANT NOTES: We have dogs (friendly!) and cats around the farm - be aware for any allergies.
Community Work Days are canceled in cases of extreme weather (i.e. thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes). We're always watching the weather and will keep everyone updated about cancellations as early as possible.
